This is the story of Lauri, and through him the story of other victims of both school bullying and a separate childhood trauma: victims full of white rage, which may lead to school shootings and other extreme acts of violence. The film is also about our society: a society without sufficient understanding or desire to address the emergence of school violence.
Arto Halonen Arto Halonen received the Finland Prize in 2005. The prize is awarded in recognition of a notable artistic career and is a major commendation by the Minister of Culture and the State. He also received the City of Helsinki Cultural Prize for 2010 – only the third time in history the prize has gone to a filmmaker. He has received also the Humanitarian Award of European Union at 1998. Halonen´s both documentary and fiction feature films have been awarded internationally and distributed widely around the world.
