Under the Crescent Moon
Under the Crescent Moon is a road movie set in the post-Arab Spring Tunisia, where the lives of director Heikki Huttu-Hiltunen and Finnish author Joel Lehtonen are intertwined. Despite the time difference of a hundred years, the dialogue between the two becomes evident as the director starts out on the route Lehtonen took when traveling in Tunisia in 1914.
Heikki Huttu-Hiltunen Heikki Huttu-Hiltunen (b. 1960) is a Helsinki-based film director and playwright. His works include numerous documentary films, plays, and scripts for both film and television. Huttu-Hiltunen has also directed TV-documentaries and radio dramas.
