Pekka Malmikunnas is a bankrupt, penniless, middle-aged man, who has convinced his family that he is still the CEO of a large IT company. Maintaining this facade in order to save face has become something of a full-time job for him. When Pekka’s parents suddenly decide that the estranged family should reunite, his carefully crafted hoax is in danger of being revealed.
Juha Lehtola Juha Lehtola (b. 1966) is an awarded director and scriptwriter working both in cinema and in theatre. His filmography as director includes several films and series for TV and the feature film Boy Upside Down (2014). He has been awarded, among others, with Prix Italia for TV series White Marble, which he wrote, and Venla prize (Best TV series) for Woman in the Meadow, which he directed.
