Ice dancers Olesia Karmi and Max Lindholm have been dreaming about getting to the olympics since they were children. The last years of their career are physically and mentally demanding and finally their career ends in Olesia’s injury. They have lived their whole lifes in the figure skating world. How does it feel to be under thirty years old and droping out into an empty void? Can you ever get the same adrenaline from somewhere else?
Nina Forsman is a documentary filmmaker and an editor from Tampere, Finland. She has worked as an editor in production companies like Yellow Film & TV, Siro Creative, Banijay Finland and Solar Television since 2012. She was also an editor in Maija Blåfield’s documentary film On Destruction and Preservation which premiered in Visions du Réel and won the Ken Burns Award for Best Film at 57th Ann Arbor Film Festival.
