Linda is a young Finnish Romani rap artist, who escaped to drugs from her problems. After she was nearly killed by her ex-boyfriend, she decided to quit the scene. Now she pursues her dreams and starts to record her first album. But her past keeps haunting her: abandoned by her father, Linda searches for a man to protect her. When Linda meets Janne, a forty-year-old convicted murderer, she finally feels safe. But will Linda find her strength and start to believe she is enough to fend herself?
Aino Suni (b. 1985) is Finnish director and screenwriter. She has a Master’s degree in Film Screenwriting from University of Salford, UK. Suni’s short film Wolf Carver was selected to Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival 2012.
