Petteri Saario Petteri Saario (b. 1961) is a documentary maker who has specialized to depict the disappearing natural and cultural values and the complex relationship between man and nature. Besides directing and producing, he is also familiar with underwater and wildlife filming. His films have been distributed all over the world and they have been nominated and awarded in numerous festivals, e.g. Krakow Film Festival, Moscow Film Festival, Prix Europa and Japan Wildlife Film Festival. He has run his own production company DocArt since 2002
